Nexus Managers has a new alternative in the Louisiana market for Medical Malpractice Coverage. The Practice Protection Fund (PPF) was founded to respond to the gap in coverage availability of the Medical Professional Insurance marketplace. The PPF coverage has been approved by the Louisiana Patients Compensation Fund to meet the underlying requirements for a physician to qualify for coverage.

Due to the exponential growth of health care related litigation that is having a direct impact on the availability and affordability of medical professional coverage not to mention the impact on the availability of medical care. Physicians are being faced with high deductibles and high cost insurance products.

Through the Practice Protection Fund members gain access to an insurance vehicle granting medical professional coverage at lower rates, reflecting the true cost of insurance (minus the legal expense allowances caused by a minority of offenders).

Members will have access to Practice Protection Services. PPS delivers legal services that are supervised by an attorney that is certified in the field of Medical Malpractice Defense by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys.
